SILAT

There are many stories relating the origin of silat. From what i have learned, It originated from a group of people called "Wali Songo". There were 7 people in that group and they were missionaries. Every single one of them have their own style of fighting but they use it only to defend Islam. From that era untill today, these 7 types of Silat were divided into hundreds of more of types of Silat that teaches different styles of fighting. Even the famous Bruce Lee lost to the fighting ways of Silat.
